Kate Gosselin Wasn’t Invited To DWTS Reunion: Further Evidence She’s Just Using Her Kids For Fame?
It wasn’t difficult to recognize that Kate Gosselin was sort-of, well, the odd man out on Dancing With the Stars season 10. It was often uncomfortable to watch her dance, and even we could tell during the few behind-the-scenes segments that she wasn’t exactly best friends with her fellow contestants.
So it doesn’t come as too much of a surprise that the mom and star of Kate Plus Eight wasn’t invited to an upcoming reunion in Los Angeles for the cast members from her season. “Of course she was not invited!” an insider from the show told Popeater.com. “We all became close during and after the show except Kate who hasn’t returned anyone’s calls or emails. You know it’s bad when even creepy bachelor, Jake Pavelka, gets invited but she doesn’t.”
The insider revealed that Gosselin has made no effort to stay in touch with anyone from the show, even her–very patient–dance partner Tony. She has not made contact with any of the others–like Erin Andrews and winner Nicole Scherzinger– since the day she left the show, and definitely won’t be joining them for the big dinner.
Is this simply more evidence that Gosselin will take any opportunity to increase her fame and fortune? If she joined the cast of Dancing With The Stars for the right reasons, it seems she would have made some friends, and stayed in touch–it’s only natural. But instead, she did what she could in front of the cameras, and then disappeared. Sure, she has eight kids that keep her busy–but she also has another reality show and many other opportunities that she seems to fit in just fine.

Eva commented on Jul 27 10 at 7:53 pmnot sure if im following your logic. I think she’s HORRIBLE and do think she uses her kids as her meal-ticket, but Im not sure how her anti-social behavior on DWTS confirms that. And what are the “right” reasons for doing the show? Dont they all do it for money/exposure? Again, this isnt in support of Kate – I think she’s gross.

Sadly, I think this is the case with Ms. Gosselin. She isn’t a very nice person, and even worse, she is just one more example of yet another person becoming famous who does not deserve it or the positive attention and wealth that comes with celebrity.
