18475PCN Juicy061 273x300 Sharon Murphy Relieved by Release of Simon Monjacks Autopsy ResultsSharon Murphy, mother of the late Brittany Murphy, has endured more tragedy in the course of a year than most of us can imagine. Losing both her daughter and son-in-law, Simon Monjack. to pneumonia-related deaths less than a year apart. But she is relieved that Monjack’s autopsy results have been made public so ”the media speculations can stop.”

“As I was sure of, just like my daughter Brittany, there was no kind of drug overdose [for Simon Monjack],” Sharon Murphy said in a statement Wednesday.

“I am calling on the media to stop the reckless innuendos, that my daughter and son-in-law misused any kind of prescription medications.”

She added that she is “still in shock and mourning” over the deaths but she is “getting stronger every day.”

How is it that a young couple died of the very same cause given that it is rare for pneumonia to be deadly in that age group?  Can an autopsy detect a broken heart? Seems to me Monjack probably no longer wanted to live without Murphy. It’s like a modern-day Shakespearean tragedy.
