Alex King Talks About Father’s Death On Larry King Live
On November 26, 2001, 12- and 13-year-olds Alex and Derek King were sentenced for killing their father, Terry King. Younger brother Alex helped plan the baseball-bat murder, which Derek carried out; both brothers allegedly saying they were abused by their father.
Seven years later, in 2008, Alex was released from prison, and Derek was released a year later. Now, Alex is taking his side of the story public, on tonight’s episode of Larry King Live on CNN. According to Onlykent.com, the boy who is now 21 years old, will discuss his time in prison, as well as how he plans to help prevent other young people from carrying out violent crimes.
Will you watch Alex on Larry King Live tonight?

Naomi Balseiro commented on Jul 22 10 at 12:10 pmI was moved and inspired by Alex’s story (his life). He’s our “Anne Frank, Nelson Mandela”.
He had a rough start, but I see great things in his future. God Bless you Alex.
Mike Kugel commented on Jul 23 10 at 12:39 amI just watched a clip of the show and I was so impressed with Alex. I’m not a religious person but God bless the family that took him in and gave him the love and guidance he never had as a child. His “adoptive” mother was on the show, and I feel bad that I don’t recall her name because she’s given him his life back. Alex – I never even met you and I’m so proud of you. You’re a special person, and thank you for sharing your story.

Like Naomi, I am not really a religious person, but can only endorse her comments in respect of the family that has supported Alex (and the family that has supported Derek) over the past seven or so years – this may sound silly, but I have a picture that a group called “Under Our Wings” published about you chaps on my mouse-pad, so keeping you both in mind over the years. Like Naomi, I have never met you Alex, but you and Derek have been often in my thoughts over the past so many years. Every best wish for the future (and maybe we will meet up some time). Keep your head up, as Naomi says, “You’re a VERY special person. Make the most of life and enjoy it to the full. ₤ance.
