Actor and comedian Steve Harvey has many successes under his belt. The star, who had his own sitcom (aptly titled “The Steve Harvey Show”) for six years, is now the newest host of the super-popular game show Family Feud. In addition, he also has a syndicated radio show, is an acclaimed author, and, oh, is also on a national comedy tour.

One of the original “Kings of Comedy,” Harvey is now also dishing out romance advice. His book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man: What Men Really Think About Love, Relationships, Intimacy, and Commitment is a bestseller, and its follow-up is due just in time for the holiday season. So what does he have to say to people looking to settle down into relationships and start families?Harvey says both men and women are making mistakes when it comes to finding the right partner — and potential parent of their children. He claims women “relinquish their power,” while men need to “make women happy.” He encourages both to be upfront about their needs, and not wait around for a significant other to grow into their potential. How does he know so much about relationships?

Well, even though Harvey is been divorced twice, he has four children, and we’re sure through the process of raising them (and probably mending a few broken hearts), he’s gotten a couple of ideas about what men and women are doing wrong. Also, the born-again Christian says he’s become a “really good family man.” And with his new hosting gig on Family Feud, we’re sure he’ll keep on being a family man in more ways than one!
