From The New Angelina Jolie Tell All: She Used Maddox To Steal Brad Pitt!
Andrew Morton’s much anticipated book Angelina: An Unauthorized Biographyhits bookshelves in just a few weeks. Out on August 3, sections have already been leaked to Us Weekly and give a good look at the momentum of the Jennifer Aniston-Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie love triangle.
Angelina, according to Morton had her heart set on Brad years before they made the movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith together in 2004. She’s had romances with a long list of men she has worked with including Ethan Hawke and Colin Farrell and thought Brad would be the same. Looks like she’s psychic, which is odd because at the time Jennifer had an astro pal tell her that a “dark angel” would be entering her life.
At the time of filming both Brad and Angelina denied the rumors of sparks but have come out in later years saying that they fell in love on set. Morton believes that “Maddox played a pivotal role,” in winning Brad over. The actor had lots of practice playing with his nieces and nephews and desired a family, telling Diane Sawyer in 2004 that the next three years of his life would include “Kids. Family. I’m thinking family.”
Brad stated in that interview that he was working something out with Jennifer, leading many to believe that she did not want kids. Around that time Friends was ending and Brad skipped the finale to shoot scenes of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Jen later joined Brad in Rome while he shot Ocean’s Twelve. He later returned to shoot the final scenes with Angelina. At that point it was over.
Jennifer and Brad separated on January 7 and on January 8, Brad and Angelina picked out a little girl, Zahara, from the Wide Horizons Adoption Agency. Jen filed for divorce the weekend that Brangelina shot the now infamous W magazine spread with Angelina and Brad acting as parents to five young children.
Angelina then staged a photo-op in Kenya where she and Brad and Maddox were shot playing on the beach. “There was now no doubt in Jennifer’s mind,” writes Morton, “that she had been mistaken into believing her husband’s assurances that he had been intrigued by but had not dallied with Angie.”
Brad and Angelina are an amazing couple and have raised a beautiful family together. All of this happened years ago so whenever I read a tabloid proclaiming how Jennifer is secretly raging at Angie or wants Brad back, I roll my eyes and immediately discount it as fiction. Yet, having the whole set of occurrences laid out like this makes me think that the tabs might not be so far fetched.

Jen was more in love w/the idea of having Brad Pitt. But she didn’t want to ruin her body by getting pregnant. She said that in an interview herself. He found someone who wanted what he wanted. And yes, Jen still wants him back. She lost him because she was selfish and self absorbed. Sorry she got hurt in the whole thing, but he told her up front that he wanted a family. Even had a nursery built into their home. If that is not what she wanted, then she never should have married him and let him be happy w/someone else.

sue commented on Jul 21 10 at 10:40 pmStop the lies Barbara. Where did this rumor she didn’t want kids come from? It’s been suggested that Jolie planted this in the press. Jen and her friends confirmed in the VF interview she did want kids.
Here’s a blurb from back then talking about her being ready for kids now that Friends was over.
When “Friends” wrapped in early 2004, Aniston seemed ready to hop on the mommy track, which the media had had her on since she and Pitt tied the knot in a million-dollar ceremony in July 2000.“It’s exciting,” she gushed to Oprah. “I didn’t want to have children while I was on the show … but this new chapter is perfect.”
She added to Diane Sawyer, “I’ve liked working right now — I really love it. But I also feel that this’ll be probably the most important job I’ll ever do, having a baby, so that deserves time like my career deserves time.”
Also there are pics of her in Spring 04 at the same fertility doctor as CCox went to.
She chose to believe her husband that he didn’t cheat. Then it came out of Jolie’s own mouth that she wanted her kids to see the movie where their parents fell in love.
Stop trying to rewrite history.

Jen was just not the one. They met on a blind date. Angie and Brad are good caring people. They have a beautiful family. Jen needs to move on. You can not make someone love you. Brad and Angie I wish your family all the best. If you start to have hard times. Just remember Mr.& Mrs. Smith..Peace & Love!
Rags commented on Jul 22 10 at 1:24 amYou can believe what Jennifer says all day long Sue but you can’t deny facts. Brad wanted kids, badly. He was about 40 and like many good men felt a strong need to raise kids. Is this proven? Yes, he built a nursery for him and Jen which went empty for years. He then married a women with a child and promptly got 5 more. On the other hand you have Jen claiming she wants kids to all available media yet all these years later is still childless. Despite the fact that she is in her 40′s and that her biological clock is winding down she still doesn’t appear to have any kids in the foreseeable future. Now who do you believe?

As is obvious, Jennifer likes chic-flic roles…always about relationships..very little depth – that’s why her pcitures arenever hits. Angelina is able to go beyond the traditional women’s role….action/’drama/adventure. Maybe Brad really wanted a different type of woman – even if Angie did actively try to “steal” him, it was his responsibility to say yeah or nay. Put the rewponsibility where it belongs – IT’S BRAD’s CHOICE

It'sPat commented on Jul 27 10 at 12:13 pmI think there are some stories about Angelina waiting to be told, but it doesn’t sound like they will come from this book. It’s just old gossip rehashed. As for Angie not being able to help who she fell in love with…that ain’t love, honey. I think Angie sincerely loves her children but I wonder if she’s capable of loving a man or a woman without having a self serving agenda.
