Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston Aren’t Becoming Reality Stars
Despite rumors that the newly engaged couple, Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston, were shopping around a reality TV show idea, Palin’s rep declared otherwise, ensuring the couple will not be joining the ranks of The Real Housewives and The Bachelorette.
“There is a lot of public speculation that Bristol and Levi have signed up for a reality show about their relationship,” Palin’s rep to Usmagazine.com. “They have not.”
The couple, who are parents to son Tripp, have been approached by various networks about a possibly reality show, according to Palin’s rep. Palin, however, has not committed to participating in anything—at least not yet. “Her focus remains on doing what is best for Tripp and her family,” her rep said.
Palin, 19, and Johnston, 20, reconciled their relationship and became engaged only two weeks ago, opening their relationship up for further criticism and rather public concern from Palin’s mom, 2008 Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, and other family members. The reunion “felt right, even though we don’t have the approval of our parents,” Bristol has said.
One thing is for sure: If they do ever get a reality show going, it’s likely to be filled with some serious drama.
