68892EM CRUZ B GR 01 725x1023 Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem Married! And She Wants BabiesPenelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are the latest couple to get married without tipping off the press. The Spanish acting pair tied the knot earlier this month in the Bahamas, in front o a small crew of family and friends, according to People. Cruz and Bardem, both Oscar winners, had been dating for three years. And Cruz has been talking about babies for nearly as long. Yes, for Penelope Cruz, kids are a priority.

So let the official Bump Watch begin! Though she might not be sporting an actual bump. Scroll down to find out why…

— In 2008 she told W magazine that she’s interested in adopting children:  “It’s something that I’ve thought about a lot,” she said.

— “Of course I want to have kids,” She told Spanish Marie Claire in 2007. “I want to have my own kids, but also adopt. For a while I’ve had the feeling that my life won’t be complete if I don’t adopt.”

— Still, we may have to wait a little bit longer for this baby dream to come true. Last year Cruz said, “I want to have babies one day but not right now. When I do it I want to do it really well. I want it to be my best project in life. I don’t know if I believe in marriage. I believe in family, love and children.”

Here at Babble.com, we can’t wait for these two to start a family — check out the other celebrity couples we’re hoping will have babies.
