Bret Michaels Is Engaged!
We all witnessed Bret Michaels womanizing ways during VH1′s Rock of Love. After years of playing the rock star bachelor, he’s finally ready to settle down with the mother of his children Kristi Lynn Gibson.
The pair have had an on-again off-again relationship for 16 years and share parenting duties of daughters Raine Elizabeth and Jorja Bleu.
Kristi was by Bret’s side during his recent hospitalization for a brain hemorrhage. The brush with death apparently made him realize what is most important in life.
So how did he propose?
Bret broke out the ring after July 4th weekend at their ranch outside of Scottsdale.
The couple will get married once Bret has recovered his health fully and finished his tour. We’re sure it will be a beautiful wedding and that his daughters will be involved. Perhaps he can find a bandanna that matches Kristi’s veil?
“Bret felt like now was the time because Kristi has been through so much with Bret and has been by his side every step of the way,” a source told Star magazine. “He’s woken up. He now knows he wants to be a husband.”
Congrats to the happy couple!
