Carrie Underwood’s Luxury Wedding Venue (PHOTOS)
Check out photos of the Ritz-Carlton Lodge in Greensboro, Georgia, where Carrie Underwood and her fiance, hockey player Mike Fisher, will be getting married tonight. Guests of the hotel who were not invited to the wedding were given letters requiring that they leave the premises by noon on Friday. Due to Underwood and Fisher wanting extreme privacy, people require a special pass to enter the property this weekend, and waterways surrounding the resort are closed.
Radar Online is reporting that yesterday when Fisher was asked by a well-wisher if he was excited, Fisher replied, “Yeah, I really like her.” Um, good thing, dude, cause you’re marrying her. Let’s chalk it up to nerves and hope his enthusiasm grows throughout the day. More photos of the wedding venue next.

I’d be ticked if I rented a room and found out after I got there. No offense but celebrities are just people too.

Janelle Powers commented on Jul 13 10 at 2:01 amMy take on all of this is this. Everyone claims that she is so down to earth. I don’t think anyone really knows what that means. Down to earth is not a 500,000 wedding. Down to earth is not a 800,000 ring. If I was in the position that she is in I would have had a decent wedding and what would of made me happier is to help out as many people as I could. With so many strugling I really think this is a slap in the face to even hear any of this. I think she has forgotten where she came from. It was the fans that allowed her to have that wedding!!!! Something to think about.
Janelle Powers commented on Jul 13 10 at 2:04 amAs a Christian one would think there was a better place to spend the money. I know she gives a lot to charity, but it is real easy to give when you have the kind of money that she does. I do wish them both happiness and love. Love is the greatest gift of all and if they have found that it is great.

You only said what a lot of people are probably thinking!!!!!!
PoloPony commented on Jul 13 10 at 3:10 pmWhy is she ashamed of Oklahoma? That’s where she is from and shouldn’t she have had the wedding there? As far as I’ve seen she and Mike have NO CONNECTION to little bitty Greensboro, Georgia. She hasn’t even mentioned Oklahoma. She slapped Oklahoma in the face!
