The KKB Diet: This Is How Kelly Bensimon Eats? Really?
I was always under the assumption that breakfast was the most important meal of the day. It doesn’t look like Kelly Bensimon of Real Housewives of New York City agrees. When I think of a healthy breakfast I think oatmeal, an egg white omelet or perhaps a hearty high fiber cereal. Kelly? She has “two big oranges.” Really? That’s it?
What else does she eat? The skinny Minnie dished to Star Magazine and on her video blog about her diet saying that a daily meal plan looks something like this:
Breakfast – Two big oranges (stating “it’s a great source of Vitamin C and easy to eat”) She also has Café Busteo coffee with Soy milk.
Lunch – Brown rice, tofu and broccoli – Her “biggest meal of the day” that she says is “really hearty.” And she obsessed with vitamin water because “it’s delicious and it’s healthy and incredibly refreshing”
Dinner – Salad with shrimp – something light and “very very simple.” She’ll also have salmon and a salad or a piece of chicken and a salad. “And then a beer to top it off and to have fun.”
She says that, “I have this diet for six days, and then I have one day where I eat chicken wings, beer, and muffins!”
She also put together one of her YouTube videos about her diet so you can “get fit together.” (Check it out below)
And the above diet probably doesn’t include her sugar fixes with her love of gummy bears and jelly beans.
The big question, does she feed her daughters the same diet? I hope she gives them a bit more for breakfast!

REAL (working) Housewife commented on Jul 08 10 at 9:42 pmHmmm…what about jelly beans? And her constant insistence that she doesn’t drink alcohol? Doesn’t add up. Plus, mood stabilizers and beer don’t mix…
The big question commented on Jul 09 10 at 2:25 amwhat woman in her right mind would would care what KKB (the crazy eats) if anything in her diet causes the issues that she has, most sane women will consume just the opposite. However since Kelly does appear very masculine it could be something for men.
Yeah Right commented on Jul 14 10 at 5:42 pmThis is a load of bunk. Read her tweets. She eats out at least twice a day, everyday. I seriously doubt that at every restaurant she eats as has tofu, brown rice, broccoli and shrimp. She has to mix it up. Don’t believe anything that Kelly ever says.
