Nicole Sullivan: How I Lost The Baby Weight
Actress and comic Nicole Sullivan, who gave birth to son Beckett last August managed to shed the 35 pounds she gained while pregnant–though it didn’t happen quickly. “I didn’t know how to lose weight!” the 40-year-old told Usmagazine.com recently. The successful tactic she eventually settled on? Jenny Craig.
She limited herself to 1,200 calories per day–and added in vegetables that she says were seriously lacking in her household. Sullivan also started working out with Jenny Craig fitness consultant Christopher Ross twice a week, and took up running–which eventually led her to do her first 5K in June. “Once you start working out, you want to eat better. Then you’re like, Is that burger really worth it?” she said.
Sullivan now jogs three to six miles, five days a week and seems to be sticking with her new size four figure.
