We’ve seen hours of footage of Scott Disick’s horrible behavior towards his girlfriend and mother of his child, Kourtney Kardashian. We’ve also heard the stories and canned, quotable apologies he’s given claiming he is a new man. While I wish it was true since the couple needs to get along for the best interest of Mason, it seems like Scott has no idea how to be a partner, father, or decent human being.

While on a trip to NYC this past weekend, the couple went out for a night on the town at club Greenhouse. When Kourtney wanted to leave in order to get back home to breastfeed Mason, Scott didn’t want to budge.

“There were some moments of tension because she wanted to leave and Scott wanted to stay,” a source tells Page Six.

Kourtney eventually won out.

As for breastfeeding 6 month old Mason, Kourtney “just started incorporating solid foods into his diet,” she said. “We began with a mixture of rice cereal, oatmeal cereal and mixed-grain cereal with some breast milk added. When I introduced it to him, he seemed confused — but ready and excited for it!”

Kourtney is not ready to go fully to solids just yet and will breastfeed him until he is one year old, if that’s his wish. “I still want to continue breastfeeding for maybe another six months or as long as Mason still wants it. I’ve heard that some babies just get over it and stop nursing.”

Good for her. But I’d slightly fix your wording there — it’s not as if babies need or ought to stop nuring once they begin solids. Going “fully to solids” doesn’t make any sense when talking about a baby under a year, because it’s not until a year that cow’s milk is an option for a baby. Before a year, a baby’s primary food source needs to be either its mother’s milk or formula. Solids augment but do not replace that.
