Fashion Experts Get Snooty Over Angelina Jolie’s Description Of Shiloh’s Style
Angelina Jolie is beautiful, a phenomenal actress, and a humanitarian, but none of that keeps her safe from the fashion police!
In Angelina’s recent Vanity Fair interview she describes Shiloh’s fashion sense, saying she “has Montenegro style.” I took this as a fancy and polite way of saying that Shiloh likes to dress like a boy-albeit one who comes from the European nation located on the Adriatic coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Girly’s got a sword.
But fashion insiders won’t let it drop. No one is allowed to create a label for a trend except for them! Angie must be punished!
TV personality and style expert Robert Verdi has said, “I don’t think anybody knows what that means. I think she was trying to say something intellectual or funny, and it just sounded dumb.”
The woman who has been spending time raising awareness for children left homeless in Haiti said something dumb about fashion? Oh no. How will people ever take her seriously again? All tents in the ravaged country just got up and left in disgust and went to buy Fendi shoes to make themselves feel better.
Moving on, Stacy London, host of the ultra-profound What Not To Wear, aka THE MOST IMPORTANT TELEVISION PROGRAM EVER, has weighed in on this important topic saying, ”I have absolutely no idea what Angelina meant by the Montenegro comment. It’s a beautiful [country] but with no particular known style connotation, I don’t think. They shot part of the first Daniel Craig Casino Royale Bond movie there, but so what? Shiloh certainly isn’t dressing like Vesper Lynd.”
OMG-Angelina’s career is over! She’s done!
Stylist/designer Phillip Bloch has ”never heard of” Montenegro style,” but points out that because Angelina is a “global citizen of the world,” her points of reference are “a little bit different. When Angelina says ‘Montenegro style,’ it’s like you or me saying ‘Rhinebeck [New York] style.”
So there you have it. Shiloh Jolie Pitt has Rhinebeck, New York style. Let’s hope Angelina’s career, nay her life, can recover from this major faux pas of mislabeling the pairing of shirts with pants. She had better start doing damage control or else she could find herself co-starring next to Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson in a straight to DVD film.
Tragic.

Angelina Jolie confirms she approached for Bond Girl role twice by Sony – MI6 | Casino Cruises Biz commented on Jul 05 10 at 3:17 amwhatevs commented on Jul 03 10 at 10:23 amOr the original reporter could have done his/her job and asked Ms. Jolie to clarify her meaning: “I’m not aware of Montenegro style, what is that please?”. Or maybe the reporter did the right thing to let it go because truly who gives a care? The child is 3. When she’s 25 and still “dressing like a boy” then worry about it. Sheesh. Ms. Jolie has other concerns – mainly helping those less fortunate.
pie commented on Jul 10 10 at 2:30 amfashion experts are cool.. but not this time! Shiloh is 3 so its okay to let the kid or mom and dad decide for her outfit.. Whatever she’s comfortable at. the time will come if ever she will change her fashion sense or not. Who cares? No descrimination needed its their kid they will accept her whatever she turns out to be in the near future…
