Angelina Jolie To Quit Acting? Why?
Angelina Jolie is one of the highest paid and most in demand actresses out there. She earns up to $20 million per movie, and is the go-to gal for action movies. So why is she thinking of saying bye-bye to acting on the big screen?
She recently told Vanity Fair that she is considering leaving her movie star gig saying, “I’m very grateful, it’s a fun job. … But I don’t think I’ll do it much longer.”
So why would she give up such a “fun” job. A job that makes so much money. A job that she previously seemed to love? I can think of six reasons. Her kids. Angelina and Brad try to give each kind the unique attention they need. And they’re probably not done adding to their family. Angelina told Vanity Fair that:
“We’re not opposed to it. But we want to make sure we can give everybody special time. They’re kids now, and can play together, but they’re going to need a lot more talking in the middle of the night, like I did with my mom for hours. We want to make sure we don’t build a family so big that we don’t have absolutely enough time to raise them each really well.”
And with that many kids, and with parents who are so busy with their careers plus all their charity projects, having enough time for all those little people will continue to be a challenge.

carrie commented on Jul 04 10 at 6:02 amNo – I for one will not miss her on the screen at all. She needs to stay home and raise those kids,not a nanny or two or three. If you want a large family -lots of kids -you need to do the right thing -take care of them.Kids should be top priority. They have plenty of money – so that is not a factor .
