Really? Man Names Baby After Lady Gaga
Oh no he didn’t! A dad in Blyth, Northumberland in the United Kingdom went ahead and really took liberties in naming his newborn daughter. But it looked like he asked the advice of his four-year-old stepdaughter Maddy in naming his baby instead of the woman who actually gave birth to his child. The name? Meggie Maisie Lady Gaga. Why Lady Gaga?
Because the four year old is a fan! If I used that logic my next child would be named Strawberry Shortcake Barbie Little Pony Chanel. Yeah, you just don’t ask four-year-olds for baby name advice. And apparently the mom of the baby agrees saying:
“I can’t believe he actually went ahead and did it. Ian (the dad) thought it was a really good idea but I told him no way. The registrar asked three times if there was anything he wanted to change about the name but he didn’t back down. It’s still strange to look at the birth certificate now.”
And the family is not stoked. They will look at having it changed via a “deed poll” but they can’t do that until Meggie Maisie Lady Gaga turns eighteen.
