Soleil Moon-Frye Book Will Talk About Punky Brewster, Kids, and More
Soleil Moon-Frye (Punky Brewster to fans of a certain age) has sold a memoir to Dutton, a division of Penguin publishers. “Yes it’s true! I’m writing a book! So excited. I will want 2 hear ideas from all of you. You are an inspiration!” She tweeted today.
The book, titled Happy Chaos, is being billed as both a memoir and handbook, will tell two different stories. First, it will recount the saga of Soleil’s unconventional childhood and her years on Punky Brewster.
But it will also include anecdotes from Soleil’s current life as a mom to two daughters, Poet and Jagger. “I’m nostalgic and love talking about my childhood and family so what better platform to share with others than a book close to my heart?” Frye said to CNN.
Expect to see the book in stores sometime in 20011.
