Psychological Report: Joran Van Der Sloot is Sane
According to an expert opinion, suspected killer Joran Van Der Sloot is sane but “devalues women,” which makes you wonder what his mother, Anita Van Der Sloot, thought of the findings, as she perhaps wonders if she raised a serial killer, if more victims will be found and what really happened to Natalee Holloway. Here’s what the report says about his mental state:
Van Der Sloot “at the time of evaluation, does not show pathological disorders that prevent [him] from perceiving and evaluating reality.” It also says he is of average intellect, ”presents traces of an antisocial personality,” and “is indifferent when it comes to the welfare of others.”
The report also said Van Der Sloot displays “poor social awareness that is evident in the violation of the rules” and the actions he takes against others. He leans ”towards a life of debauchery and dissipation in the search for new sensations that allow him to feel encouraged,” which reflects his “emotional immaturity.”
The report indicated he “devalues the female figure.”

Robert Baum commented on Jun 25 10 at 5:49 pmWell I think before this incident in Peru that he clearly came across as a being quite lacking in an ability to be something other than a creature with lacking ANY sort of a soul. One need only hear the comments he made when asked by reporters about what he did with Natalie Holloway and said to one reporter that it was none of the reporter’s business.
That being embracing his mother warmly before cameras on Aruba when Natalie Holloway disappeared is a cold, soulless creature.
Jpep24 commented on Jun 25 10 at 6:24 pmHe might be sane(physically) but he is not a normal person. No normal person kills people and feel no remorse, and even worse, has everything against him and denies it. Sorry there is a LOT of wrong things in this kid’s mind. Anyway, what I wanted to say is: let’s just stop caring what he says about this case or Natalee’s (unless he reveals her body’s location) Let’s just hope this family (Flores) finds the strength to cope with this. As for this sick person, well, remember his face and name…and what he did. Tell everyone you know. Whenever he is done with his time in jail (if he survives) he will be alone in this world. NEVER forget him.
My best wishes to Stephany’s family… I respect you for not becoming the same as Joran, filling your hearts with hatred. I hope you find the peace you need.
nichole commented on Jun 25 10 at 8:53 pmHe is a sociopath and that is why he kills and feels nothing. To anyone who doesnt know who he is he comes off as friendly, attractive, people are drawn to him and thats how he gets his victims alone. Then they do something that may hurt his ego, like deny his sexual advances and then he snaps. He is a lunatic and I hope he dies a horrible death as I am sure his victims did.

monika commented on Jun 25 10 at 11:22 pmgood night joran van der sloot, you will rot in prison. if he devalues the female figure, he won’t be seeing many of them in prison
JoranTossesManSalad commented on Jun 26 10 at 1:31 pmThis guy is in for a rude awakening. This ain’t Aruba and you ain’t in Kansas any more Moran. I’m sure the next trick up his sleeve as soon as he’s convicted will be to start negotiations to sell his Natalee confession to a tabloid while, who knows what international laws apply here, he may actually be able to keep the money!??!
Tanya Aldridge commented on Jul 03 10 at 1:42 amHopefully, the only way this guy leaves Peru, is in a box. If he gets paid for an interview, Stephanie’s family should get every penny. My prayers go to Stephanie and Natalee’s family.
