Kate Gosselin Shows Skin With Monster Heels While Shopping at Target
Kate Gosselin got all dolled up the other day for a trip to … Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond. A cleavage-baring halter, white borderline short-shorts and high heels. Hmm. Well, I have an opinion but the last time I dare criticize this mom’s attire, readers got a little hot under the collar — or, more accurately, the sports bra. So instead, I bring you what Harper’s Bazaar has advised as far as shorts etiquette for women. So send your complaints there! What fashion rules Gosselin broke and another photo next.
Question: At what age should you stop wearing short shorts?
Answer: Once you graduate from college, pack ‘em in. As for city shorts, which hit above the knee, this look has legs for any age, as long as they are paired with a smart menswear-inspired jacket or a long cardigan for a tailored, finished feel.
Q: When is short too short? What hemline at what age?
A: Microminis are fine for those in their 20s; midthigh lengths work for thirtysomethings. But once you hit 40, aim for just above the knee. That measure can carry you through just as long as your legs do.
Would these shorts be considered “mid-thigh?” If so, I guess Kate’s okay there. Also, I checked with a friend in the fashion “biz” and she said with this halter and shorts combo, Kate should have paired the ensemble with classy flats for a more appropriate daytime look, not rock-inspired sky-high heels like she was “heading out to a biker bar after dropping off her groceries.” Her words, not mine! What do you think?

I didn’t like when Kate Gosselin recently donned borderline short-shorts with monster heels during the day, so you can pretty much guess what my opinion of Ripa’s ensemble is. But what [...]

Is Kate Gosselin a Cougar? | Famecrawler commented on Aug 23 10 at 4:31 pmEricka commented on Jun 22 10 at 2:24 pmThe outfit is cute, but the heels are a bit much. But, hey, it’s nice to see her taking an interest in trying to be a woman and not just a mom of 8. Good for her.
Marla commented on Jun 23 10 at 12:36 pmWell I am just glad she thinks she can pull that off…. the shoes are attrocious, and man it has to be uncomfortable to wear all that, and it must take forever to get ready just to get to Target…. well I guess when you have tons of nannies and maids for the rest of your life you can manage to take 1 hour to get ready just for a trash can and Keurig coffee tins. What else does she have to do?
80qc commented on Jun 23 10 at 9:07 pmShoes are a bit much…but the top and shorts are cute and she wears it well. Its hot down here in the south, so we wear it every day.
J.B. commented on Jun 24 10 at 6:46 pmShe looks skanky. Too much skin exposed for shopping, too much makeup and the heels. She looks like she should be wrapped around a stripper pole. But of course she does it for attention. I don’t think she has ever heard the pharse “less is more.”
Linda commented on Jun 25 10 at 11:18 amI can’t get past her face. What happened to it?
Barb commented on Jun 25 10 at 5:53 pmThis does not look like Kate Gosselin to me! Wow!
kRYZTAL commented on Jun 25 10 at 7:04 pmShe looks good! Who cares if she was only going to target, that shows she takes care of
her self. All you “HATERS” probably shop in your pijamas & flipflops & are jelous of how good she looks.

Gail H commented on Jun 27 10 at 5:44 pmAs far as her outfit, if I had her shape, I’d rock it too. But she definitely looks like she’s had some work done on her face. She is almost unrecognizable, which is unfortunate, because I always thought she was attractive, minus that God awful haircut she used to sport!
shannon commented on Jun 28 10 at 12:34 pmI think if she has the legs for the shorts, she should wear them. Why are there all these rules for women over 20? So restrictive. Yeah, if you are riddled with cellulite maybe not, but she is toned so she can do it.
The heels are a bit much and she seems to be trying too hard to be vampy.

Me commented on Jun 30 10 at 4:42 pmAre you people looking at the same picture I am? She looks amazing. She can rock the top and the shorts. I’ll admit, the shoes are ugly. I would have worn a higher, more strappy sandal…
Kristine commented on Jun 30 10 at 11:51 pmYes, apparently the Sheeple are now spelling jealous differently, GWoPers… From “jellus” to “jelous”?
Natalie commented on Jul 02 10 at 10:47 amShe looks good, she really has worked hard on her body, let her enjoy looking good, STOP HATING!!!!!!!! She’s one hot momma!
Emily C commented on Jul 08 10 at 12:20 amListen, you never know who you’re going to meet at Bed Bath and Beyond. She’s also got an awesome body after 8 kids, flaunt it if you got it!
Kyla Gill commented on Jul 13 10 at 11:59 amWho cares? Half of us wish we looked like that or could wear that ~
