Michael Jackson’s children, Prince, Paris and Blanket had led a very sheltered life until the death of their father. Kept out of the limelight, hiding their faces behind masks and being home schooled, the trio were not allowed to mingle with the general population. That has all changed since Michael’s death. And one more great big life changing event will be coming up soon… MJ’s kids will be enrolling in a real school. This will be the first time they will have fellow students, the first time they’ll be in a classroom and probably the first time they’ll be experience peer based social pressure.

Michael’s mother Katherine Jackson told the Daily Mail that “I’d say I’m a little less strict but I’ve tried to follow the way Michael was raising them. ” she continued to say, “But they don’t have friends. They don’t go to school. They have private lessons at home. They’ll be going to a private school in September for the first time.’

The children, ages 13, 12 and 8 will have some adjusting to do, especially socially. Their peers will have had years of practice navigating the complex social structure that exists in schools. But the three appear to have a supportive family, good heads on their shoulders and you know their fellow students – and their parents -would probably love to schedule some playdates and study sessions.

Do you think they’ll have a hard time adjusting to school life?
