Motherhood Has Changed Bethenny Frankel. For the Better?
Bethenny Frankel’s baby Bryn is just five weeks old, but already Bethenny herself is a new person. Or so she tells People magazine. “I’m painfully punctual and with a child it’s really not possible,” the Real Housewives of New York and Bethenny Getting Married star says of her new laxer schedule. To boot, her RHONY fights may be a thing of the past. “You love nothing more than this tiny little being that entered your life five weeks ago and the world stops. Nothing else matters … and having drama and arguments really seem to fall to the wayside. It just seems like you can’t hook in like you did. I just don’t feel as angry as I was.”
That’s good, and bad.
For Bethenny, husband Jason Hoppy, and Bryn, the drama-free, anger-free existence will be all good. The tension Bethenny carried around this last season of Real Housewives (thanks to her spat with Jill Zarin) was agonizing. And yet, for us viewers? Tension makes TV go round. We’ll see how the ratings do now that we’ve got a happier, more easygoing Bethenny.
What hasn’t changed? She’s still the realest of the Real Housewives. As you can see in the photo above, on returning from her trip to the Hamptons, Bethenny and Jason unloaded their own groceries, and carried their own bags (and baby) into the house. Think the Countess does her own supermarket shopping? I’d say no.

Hsoo commented on Jun 17 10 at 2:34 pmBethenny is definitely the realest of the housewives and the most entertaining. Wish she could stay in the RHONY but atleast I’ll be able to see her in BGM, which is more refreshing and happy. Love watching people go through the biggest moments in their lives. Appreciate how she is sharing her life. Reminds me of my engagement, pregnancy and wedding days. It’s very nervewracking, but is precious moments looking back. Hope you enjoy these memories BEthenny.
