Did Sarah Palin Get Breast Implants? And If So Why?
The internet is a popular place for breasts. All shapes and sizes. And it isn’t just a big topic relegated to R and X-rated sites. This week, the political site Wonkette wasn’t just writing about Super Tuesday and examining exit polls, they also kept a keen eye on Sarah Palin’s boobs. Why?
Because one of their “operatives” noticed that Palin seemed a wee bit perky in the chest at this past weekend’s Belmont races (check out Gawker’s side by side comparison above). The jury is still very much out on whether she did or didn’t get surgery. The appearance of extra boobage could have been a myriad of things: a combination of a tight fitting tee and padded bra, not having her bountiful rack constrained by the confining cut of her usual business attaire, or maybe she was just a wee bit bloated.
But let’s just say, for arguments sake, that she did go under the knife to enhance the “girls,” why would she do it? She wasn’t lacking before, she doesn’t seem to have a self-confidence issue, and she’s not working a pole (political polls yes, stripper pole no). But having five kids will do a lot to a body. There is a loss of suppleness, there is sagging, and sometimes shrinkage. And when someone is in the public eye as much as Palin, it isn’t inconceivable that she would do a little restoration on her rack, and maybe added a cup or two while she was at it. And she evidently has a history on being proud of her knockers. She was once photographed wearing a novelty shirt with the following line printed boldly across her chest, “I may be broke but I’m not flat busted.” And hey, now she’s neither flat busted OR broke.
Would you put it past Sarah getting a boob job?

Overall, I don’t like the tone of this post. It’s trying to be funny, but it really is demeaning. Assuming that it was written by a woman too, it is really catty too. For example, what do you mean by “would you put it past Sarah Palin getting a boob job?” It’s her body. It’s her choice to have surgery on it if she so elects. And, it is no one’s business if she did or didn’t.
Christine Harrison commented on Jun 10 10 at 8:08 pmEvery woman who is a public figure and gets breast implants (other than for reconstruction) inevitably becomes the object of speculation, especially if she ups the ante too noticeably. That’s life. Why should Sarah Palin be treated any differently? I felt the article was carefully written to be non-judgmental and even offered several alternate possibilities for the appearance of enhancement as well as sympathetic possibilities for why Palin might have chosen the procedure. And it clearly states that there was no proof that she had. As for “it’s no one’s business”, that’s just silly. When you do something that will surely call attention to yourself don’t be offended when people notice. And if you are a famous person, people will surely comment. I will say, though, that if that earlier photo was indeed faked there should be a correction offered for referring to it.
