So you won’t catch her complaining about morning sickness any time soon. In fact, it seems the more nausea she feels, the better.

“The first two months I really felt the classical symptoms. The morning sickness, hot flashes, nausea, told Paris Match. “In a certain way, that reassured me, like a sign that my pregnancy was progressing.”

I totally get what she means with this. I didn’t have any of the issues getting pregnant that she did, but I still found my early pregnancy nausea comforting. That said, it would also be totally okay if she was complaining left, right and center about her nausea, because morning sickness can be really draining, and just because you feel lucky to be pregnant doesn’t mean you aren’t entitled to a little commiseration. Being pregnant is hard work. But as Celine Dion knows, the reward at the end is well worth it.
