Glee’s Jane Lynch Marries Lara Embry, Becomes a Stepmom!
Glee star Jane Lynch married her longtime partner, Lara Embry in a small ceremony in Massachusetts over the weekend. The couple, who have been engaged since last fall, got married at the Blue Heron restaurant in Sunderland, Massachusetts, which is in the Western part of the state. According to People, there were fewer than 20 guests in attendance, and after the ceremony, they dined on seafood, including oysters, lobster and sea bass, and finished the meal with—what else—wedding cake.
But not only did Lynch get married this weekend, she also became a stepmom!
Embry, who is a child psychologist, has two kids from a previous relationship. Those kids were the focus of a contentious custody battle last year. Apparently, Embry gave birth to one child and her former partner gave birth to the other. Upon separation, Embry’s former partner attempted to keep Embry from seeing the child that is not hers biologically. Currently, the couple share custody of both kids, and Lynch will assume stepmom duties.
Congratulations to Jane Lynch and Lara Embry!
