Gwen Stefani: “I’d Like A Daughter, But Feel Like I’m Running Out Of Time”

InStyle July cover 223x300 Gwen Stefani: Id Like A Daughter, But Feel Like Im Running Out Of TimeGwen Stefani has been spotted out lately in serious Pregnancy Hiding gear. Long cardigans on a hot day, baggy pants and even baggier shirts, ill-fitting jackets, etc, and yet her rep has firmly denied that the singer is knocked up.

I’m having trouble buying it and think Gwen may be waiting a few months to announce anything just to make sure there are no complications. The clothes are just one tip off and another is her interview in the latest issue of Britain’s In Style magazine where she discusses her desire to add a little girl to the family.

Gwen says it feels “weird” that she doesn’t have daughter and she is tempted to try for a sister for Kingston and Zuma. “Having children is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. No one could have prepared me for how awesome it is and how hard. And having two boys — there’s a lot of energy. I mean, it does seem weird that I don’t have a girl, but I feel like I’m running out of time,” she says.

As if to temper what will likely results in yet another bump watch for the star, she clearly states that “I also don’t want to spread myself so thin that I can’t even be good for them. Poor Zuma, he’d be the middle guy.”

Yet, she is sure to add, “I’m not focusing on it right now, but it’s not up to me anyway, you know? These things are miracles, so we’ll see.”

If Gwen and Gavin don’t get a little pink bundle in the future, then Gwen already has plans for her extensive wardrobe. “The clothes are probably going to go to some girlfriend of Kingston’s!” Talk about a lucky girl!
