Celine Dion Is Pregnant With Twins
The sixth time was the charm for Celine Dion, 42, and her husband Rene Angelil, 68. The couple just announced that after enduring six rounds of IVF, they are finally expecting — and not just one baby, but two! The singer and mother of nine-year-old Rene-Charles is currently 14 weeks pregnant. Dion has been very outspoken about her struggles with infertility and a past miscarriage.
“We are doing IVF and hoping for the best,” she said prior to conceiving again. “My greatest joy would be to announce I’m pregnant!” Dion underwent IVF in New York along with acupuncture treatments which are known to help increase the chances of IVF being successful.
Dion’s rep said that Dion and her husband “are both extremely excited. But really, since this was the sixth time, they just want a healthy pregnancy.” Congrats to the parents-to-be!
