Confirmed: Alicia Keys Is Pregnant!
There has been speculation but Alicia Keys’ rep now confirms what many suspected: she’s expecting a baby with her fiance producer Swizz Beatz, who is in the midst of a divorce from his first wife. (Aren’t you supposed to get divorced before you get engaged again? Just curious…) Keys and Beatz plan to marry later this year.
A source tells Us Weekly that the couple “are very happy.” This will be Keys’ first child and the second for Beatz, who has a young son named Kasseem with his wife Mashonda.
Of motherhood Keys once said: “I absolutely am very interested in starting a family. It is one of the most beautiful experiences to have in this life and I am looking forward to it when it is my time.”
