Bethenny Frankel Officially Debuts Bryn in People Magazine
Bethenny Frankel and her 2-1/2 week old baby girl Bryn grace the cover (well, at least the lower left corner) of the May 31 edition of People magazine where Frankel talks labor, parental division of responsibilities and her new life. And we learn that Bryn, born about four weeks early at 4 pounds, 11 oz., takes after her mother in at least one respect: “She has my E.T. toes. They are so long!” Frankel said. Excerpts from the interview and a link to photos next.
Apparently husband Jason got on the phone as soon as Bethenny’s water broke: “Her water broke — we’re having a baby!” he announced. Frankel countered: “We don’t have a baby. We have a puddle” and promptly instructed him to get organized.
After about 30 hours of labor, Bethenny underwent a c-section to deliver baby Bryn under doctor’s orders: “She came out like a little doll. It was amazing.”
She has a helpful husband: “Jason is the burper and diaper changer. He loves it when she goes to the bathroom because he has a project!”
Most important, the happy couple is thankful: “We’re so thankful and lucky to have a healthy baby…This is the new me now.”
