A difference of about ten thousand followers. So, what did these Twittering celebs have to say on the topic?
Britney said: “WOW!!!!! #1 on Twitter! Thank you! This is really amazing! I love you all! I better get busy writing 4,947,608 thank you notes! U guys make me sooo happy! –Brit”
Ashton’s commented on the Twitter thing and it being the second most popular question from reporters on his press junket for his new film, He said “The 2nd most pop Q “What do U think about Brittney having more followers than u?” Answer “I don’t care. Aren’t u suppose 2B a movie reporter?” (the 1st most popular question? “Press junket 4 Killers complete. On the Twitter front, even his step kids are chiming in. He posted the tidbit from Demi’s daughter Scout Willis who said, “The seeds of change are blooming.”
Ashton and wife Demi are both very avid Twitter users, both being early adapters of the social network tool. Ashton posts all sorts of things personal and professional and he has over five thousand tweets that he has posted.
But busy mom Britney? She only has posted 380. And a majority aren’t even from her. Many are posted by her managers and publicity team.
