Kelly Killoren Bensimon’s Daily Diet

kellybenisomcrazy 204x300 Kelly Killoren Bensimons Daily DietToday seems all about tearing down Kelly Bensimon so why not give her some kudos. She may be crazy, but she has a great figure any mom would love.  As a  former model it could run in the genes, but her diet probably helps.

Below is a list of what Kelly eats on an average day (it’s not insane pills). Kinda wonder what chef/cook/skinny gal Bethenny Frankel would say.  She didn’t weigh in, but celebrity nutritionist Joy Bauer did give Kelly some tips via OK! Magazine.

Breakfast
Coffee
Orange
“I always have oranges because it’s vitamin C. It’s better to eat fruit than it is to drink juice because of all that sugar,” Kelly says.

Lunch
Pineapple chicken and rice with broccoli
Diet coke

Snack
Popcorn.
“I could eat popcorn every night! To be honest, when my kids go to sleep I try to go meet a friend to hang out, because otherwise I’d be home watching bad TV and eating popcorn. I also love candy like gummy bears.”

Dinner
Protein and veggies like steak and broccoli

What the expert says: Kelly has got a pretty good diet. She should go for more protein in the morning to get her day started and provide more energy like cottage cheese. When she has rice, she should make sure it’s brown rice and mix up her veggies to give a greater variety of nutrients.  And while popcorn is fine, fruit like frozen purple grapes is better.
