Is Courteney Cox Cheating On David Arquette?
Is it really that hard to keep your pants on? Tiger Woods, Jesse James, David Boreanaz, the list of high profile people who should be required to wear chastity belts goes on and on lately. The newest in the long line is just as shocking and unexpected, but with one difference: She’s a woman.
Courteney Cox, who has 5 year old daughter Coco with husband David Arquette, is battling rumors that she is having an affair with her Cougar Town costar Brian Van Holt.
Could it be true? Let’s take a look at the facts:
Evidence A: According to Star Magazine they’ve been spotted out four times in less than four weeks since their sitcom wrapped in early April. David was not present.
Evidence B: There was a possible hand hold. “They were drinking beer and having chips and salsa in the back of the outdoor patio,” says an eyewitness. “They looked like they were holding hands at the side of their table!”
Evidence C: Engaged in “what appeared to be a kiss goodbye.”
Seems pretty shaky. I don’t think the case would hold up if this were cheater’s court. Courteney and Brian are friends, they like to eat chips and salsa together, they were talking about something emotional and held on to each others hands as a show of support, they say goodbye nicely and like adults with a kiss on the cheek. There are so many explanations for this.
But…judging by how many of these so-called rumors have come out and been true, it’s harder to brush them aside. We’re gonna choose to believe our friend is remaining faithful to her hubby at this point, but we will be keeping a close eye on her. Got that Monica?

andrea commented on May 20 10 at 11:23 amAfter seeing what this type of “news” has done to Tiger Woods – I am ready to believe that all websites are potentially alike – i.e. TMZ and Radar Online. This is poison and no one seems to have a problem spreading this garbage. Is it really anyone else’s business? I fully believe that the tabloids and so called “media” played as big a role if not bigger than the tramps Tiger was involved with. I can only hope that sometime down the road it all comes home to the vultures that report these stories.
Calgory commented on May 20 10 at 2:50 pmAndrea, I couldn’t agree more with your comment. I’m so sick and tired of all these stories and you people who ask why I read it then? One can hardly avoid all those headlines on the internet nowadays. It makes me terrible angy how all those hypocritical wannabe journalists accept that they destroy peoples lifes, their families or careers by writing this rubbish. I don’t care if Tiger Wood or Jesse James had sex with 4 or 100 or whatever how much women. They are human beings and deserve respect and privacy. They didn’t commit any crime against vulnerable groups of our society. Where are the values and the integrity of journalism? For gods sake stop making money on behalf of other people and their personal issues that should stay between them and their families. It’s definately and clear their private business and not ours or yours. As a result of those stories I’ve already stopped bying newspapers and magazines a long time ago and I might avoid the internet, twitter etc as well in the future. It’s my view that those people who profit financially or get a kick from reading those stories are much worse then all the Tiger Woods, Jesse James in the world. And I have to say it again those peope deserve respect and privacy. You the so called journalists do this intentianally to make easy money, which is highly questionable. Ethic doesn’t seem to count in your profession anymore. I don’t wish those journalists anything bad but sometimes I wish they would swap for only one day with their victims. Now after writing this I feel much better and I really hope that the madness about all the infidelity stories, if true or not comes to an end.
