Sundance Jennings was born in Torrance, California, and both he and Walsh are in good health. He is the second son for Walsh and Jennings.

Any guesses as to what they named their first son, who is turning 1 this Saturday? Snowdrift? Windsong? Thunder? Not even close.Their first son, born last May, is named Joseph Michael.

Now I’m not the name police, nor do I particularly care what other people name their kids. Call them Toothpick or Twiggy or Jeeves—it’s none of my business. (And seriously, who am I to judge? She’s going to be back in shape for the 2012 Olympics, and I can barely walk up a flight of stairs.) Still. it’s cracking me up that they went so old-fashioned traditional with the first son, and then named their second son Sundance. It’s not like a decade went by between having kids and their tastes had changed. It’s been less than a year! I am dying to hear the story behind this one.

How about you? Did make an attempt to match the style and tone of their kids names? Or did you go in two opposite directions?
