Where Was Matt Lauer the Morning After the Olympics? We’ve Got Video

AP100211132608 Where Was Matt Lauer the Morning After the Olympics? Weve Got VideoOne of the Matt Lauer cheating rumors that circulated, via The National Enquirer, was this: At the end of the Olympics, Lauer stayed in Vancouver after the rest of the Today crew left. This was, allegedly, one of the reasons his wife suspected him of cheating. Now that Lauer and wife Annette Roque have denied their rift, it’s time to look at the facts.

Did he actually stay in Vancouver after NBC’s Olympic coverage concluded? If so, it couldn’t have been for more than a few hours. Because we’ve got video of Lauer on the morning of March 1, the day after Olympic closing ceremonies. And that video was taken in NYC. Check it out below.

Lauer was already back on the Today set, interviewing Robert Pattinson about his movie Remember Me. Note that this interview took place less than 12 hours after Vancouver’s closing ceremonies ended. Does Matt look frazzled? Tired out from too much Vancouver partying? Does he look as if he is still in Canada? Not to me. But watch the video and judge for yourself.
