Sandra Bullock Divorce: Not Like Yours
Sandra Bullock is planning to add not one extra lawyer, but two additional lawyers to her divorce team, TMZ.com learned today. It’s a sure sign that she expects the fight against Jesse James to get nastier. Here’s who she hiring, and why.
The divorce is moving forward in Texas courts (for a long time, Sandra has made Austin her main home base), yet she’s petitioned to add lawyers from other states. The first is Joseph Kibre, the California attorney who handled Sondra Locke’s palimony case against Clint Eastwood in 1989. Like Sandra’s case, the Locke/Eastwood battle included more than one home. Kibre will be Sandra’s expert on what Sandra can get of her and Jesse’s Calif. holdings.
She’s also asking for Louisiana lawyer Edward Howell Crosby to be added to her team. He works in the Louisiana office of the Texas firm that’s handling her case. This may indicate that she’s worried about Jesse going after her New Orleans real estate, or some part of its value. As for Sandra’s New Orleans’ kid, word still has it that she’s is going through with Louis’s adoption solo.
