Bristol Palin on The View: “I’m a Single Mom”

Posted by ad lynn on May 5th, 2010 at 12:00 pm

Bristol Tripp 2 Bristol Palin on The View: Im a Single MomBristol Palin’s live segment on the View ended mere moments ago. Sitting at the table with the women, Bristol was charming, well-spoken, and forthcoming…to a point. Below, her quotes on teen motherhood, custody arrangements for her 16-month-old son Tripp, her mother possibly running for President, and Tina Fey’s Sarah Palin impersonation.

On being a teen mom: “I’m going to be honest about it, being a teen mom, it’s not the best situation.”

Does Levi Johnston have joint custody of Tripp?: “I’m a single mom. I think that says everything I need to say.”

On no longer being under her mom’s apron strings: “I am living by myself [with a roommate]. I’m living in a condo, a little apartment, and I’m on my own. I’m a single mom, I provide for my son.”

On her mom running for President in the future: “I would love to see that…it would be awesome.”

On Tina Fey’s Sarah Palin impersonation: “It’s funny to a point. But the accent? It’s not real at all.”

Did you see the broadcast? What was your takeaway?

Who is paying for the condo? Did Mommy Dearest give Bristol an allowance from her fees and proceeds collected from spewing lies, distortions and ignorant platitudes? Or, is it a gift from The Candies Foundation for propagating a message that numerous studies and health professionals say is flawed and actually leads to higher rates of STDs and teen pregancies.

And, like her mother, she DID NOT ANSWER A QUESTION AS ASKED? She was asked if she and her ex share joint custody. Her answer of being a single mom and that explains it all was NOT an answer to the question. She was trying to play the victim card, a trait she learned from a master con woman, her mother.

Bristol failed to mention that she has a nanny to help care for her son Tripp, and that Granny Sarah has help caring for Bristol’s other son Trig.

I suppose if I were receiving close to two grand a month in child support, i could swing a little condo rent. unless things are unbelievably expensive in alaska.

Give the girl a break. She has taken responsibility for her actions and she’s not sponging off the government.

Way too much has been made of this story. She is not the first young lady to get pregnant out of wedlock, and won’t be the last. To glorify her is sending the wrong message to young ladies. Since Bristol is off limits by our President, and the teabaggers…all I can say is that she is just a chip off of the old block. She needs to get an education and not make through life with a fake sense of success while ignoring their dysfunction. What her mother is doing will back fire one day…and Bristol will become another statitic that conservatives hate.

Of course she’s sponging off the government. Her children receive free health care from Indian Health Services, even though grifter Granny is worth millions and Bristol herself has a substantial income, and she gets 1700 a month in child support. And whatever the grifter family is giving her from SarahPAC and the Alaska Fund Trust.

Really the victim card? Obviously you are not a single mom, just because a guys gives you financial court ordered help doesn’t mean he’s a real man that deserves custody or visitation. It takes 2 to tango. I raise my child w/o any finanical help but I do get family assistance from granny, is that breaking any laws? Nope its what a family does lean on one another. Some people are so judgemental its ridiculous. Would you leave your child alone if she became preg? Wouldn’t you expect that the father HELP out? Wow u people….. all I gota say is people don’t think before they speak and karma sucks.

And indian foundation? If you were intiled to it why not? People don’t be retarted because you don’t have support on your side.

Sarah has raised a nice, smart, determined young lady. By the way a SUPER MOM! She has the guts to go on a show that wants to rip her and her family up…I call that brave. She has a great future and will continue to thrive. For all the haters out there…don’t be so judgemental…are you perfect…were you a virgin when you got married…have you ever made a mistake…at lease this young mother is trying to help not hurt others!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
