And now, in her role as artistic ambassador for Save the Children, Jennifer Garner is hopping on the bandwagon. She announced on the CBS Early Show this morning that she’s got ideas about making snacktime healthier. Plus, she let a few secrets slip about her Mother’s Day plans.

Of Save the Children, she says, “We are a literacy program, but we also teach kids just fundamentally how to make healthy choices.” So they’ve teamed up with Frigidaire (yes, the appliance company) and launched a “Make Time for Snack Time” campaign. (Visit  Frigidaire.com for healthy snack recipes— and to enter to win a free fridge.)

As for snacktime in her own house, Garner’s daughters (Violet, 4, and Seraphina, 1) aren’t always in the wholesome camp. “Oh, it’s just one bag open after another!” she bashfully admits.

The photo above shows Garner this morning at the CBS studios. Gorgeous, right? Whatever she’s eating, I’ll have the same.

And how will the Garner-Affleck crew celebrate Mother’s Day? “I’m sure they’ll wake me up with breakfast in bed and I’m sure they’ll have made me a homemade card and they’ll have flowers for me and that my husband will be there smiling,” she says, adding that hunk-of-a-husband Ben Affleck spoils her “100 percent of the time.”
