Halle Berry and Nahla’s Dad, Gabriel Aubry Split
Halle Berry and her long-time beau and the father of her two-year-old daughter Nahla, Gabriel Aubry, have broken up — and apparently it was Aubrey who did the breaking. They have hammered out a custody arrangement after quietly splitting several months ago. But why would Aubry want to end his five-year relationship with the gorgeous Academy-Award winning actress? The answer might surprise you.
Their age difference was apparently a big factor.
Gabriel just felt it wasn’t working anymore,” a source says. “When they were first together the 9-year age difference between them didn’t phase him, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever dated and he was totally in love. But as time went on he started feeling it more and more … Also, Gabriel started noticing other women, and being attracted to others, and he felt it just wasn’t right to stay with Halle in those circumstances … Gabriel is a really nice, decent guy and he would never cheat on her, but I suspect that he had become attracted to someone and that he felt he needed to break it off with Halle before anything developed any further.”
Alas, Nahla was Aubry’s main concern: “Gabriel’s main concern was custody of Nahla, he loves that little girl more than anything, and wanted 50/50 joint physical custody of her, which Halle agreed to.” The source also says that although the split has been amicable, Berry took it pretty hard, thinking she’d “found the one.”
People, if a man is with Halle Berry and is attracted to other women (as has been the case in her three major relationships including her two marriages — to David Justice and Eric Benet) what is wrong with the world??? My guess is we’ll hear about it on Oprah’s couch, where Berry declared her life was complete without marriage so she had no intention of marrying Aubry. Good thing.

Relationships are complicated as is, commented on May 02 10 at 7:58 amI have inside connections and Ms. Berry is complexed, to say the lease. It’s difficult for anyone to be on a emotional rollor coaster all the time. I think Mr. Aubry stayed in the relationship long as he could( unlike the other men who cheated, beat her up or simply took off without an explaination). Ms. Berry has some problems that no man can fix; Aubry realized that and did the next best thing, he left citing “the age difference” sounds like B S to me, he knew that coming in.

You want a real man, find a guy who is not as handsome as you are beautiful and who works for a living. Doesn’t mean he has to be poor but not someone who is so money driven he has no time for you and is used to money hungry tramps throwing themselves at him all day.
AND.. if you think you can raise any child with only one parent correctly you are wrong. Liberalism may try and convince you it is ok to have kids out of wedlock or by yourself, but you do no one a service by doing it (the child least of all). They need a mom AND a dad in a loving relationship to grow up to be respectful, responsible adults and not the screwed up offspring of a fake & mixed up hollywood family.

Face it her outward beauty is ONLY skin deep. 3 strikes and congratulations YOU’RE the psycho! Maybe she should take the age old advice and be with someone who is not competing with her in the beauty dept if her pride can handle it of course.
BTW just saw for the first time the Oscar “classic” Swordfish and good God the woman is hot!
cmac commented on Feb 11 11 at 3:14 pmppl can say what they want. but im appalled when i hear ppl speak on things they dont know (i.e. other ppls relationships) whatever she is going through is her business… AND everybody in the world has issues money and fame simply amplifies it. now in regards to mr. aubry’s statements about the split theres a saying for that “show me a beautiful woman and i’ll show you a man who is tired of having sex with her”
