Kate Gosselin’s Book of Letters to Her Kids Not Selling Well
Despite a frenzy of publicity and a stint on Dancing With the Stars which was good visibility, Kate Gosselin’s new book isn’t exactly flying off the shelves as expected based on her previous book sales. (And don’t worry, I won’t say anything about her choice of attire as that really caused an uproar!)
Since its April 13 release, “I Just Want You to Know: Letters to My Kids on Love, Faith, and Family” has sold just 10,084 copies, according to national book sales tracker Bookscan. It debuted at #11 on the New York Times non-fiction bestseller list, and at #103 on the USA Today bestsellers chart. By Thursday afternoon, its Amazon rank was #862.
Given the success of her previous books, including the hit “Multiple Blessings,” it’s not really living up to expectations. But that could be because we are all kind of Gosselin-ed out.
