Brad Pitt’s Mom & Angie At Odds Over How To Raise The Kids
Mother-in-laws can be tricky. They know how they raised their kids-she used to feed the kids cod liver oil on a daily basis (yes really, yuck) or she doesn’t believe in sweets after 7pm– and she wants you to do and feel the same. So really, it’s not very surprising that Brad’s mom Jane Pitt and Angelina have some differences of opinion when it comes to raising Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, Zahara, Vivienne and Knox.
Jane and Brad’s father Bill spent some time with the kids in Venice recently and Jane was reportedly not shy about making her opinions known. Are grandparents ever?
“Jane complained to Angelina that the children need more discipline,” an insider tells In Touch. While Jane loves to spoil her grand kids, she also worries about the lack of structure.
Specific changes she’d like to see made include:
-The kids should stop eating so many sweets
-They play too rough and should ease up, especially when it comes to fights between Maddox and Pax
-Bath time should be less chaotic
-They should not be staying up past 8pm
-Cut back on all the travel. Jane believes ‘the kids need to see the same wallpaper when they wake up and not be dragged around the world and wake up in strange surroundings.”
Angelina, of course, resents and hates what she considers interference. As of now she doesn’t seem interested in taking Jane’s advice. However, Jane and Bill will be moving into their Los Feliz, CA home this summer while Brad shoots his new movie Moneyball. They’ll be there three whole months which gives Angie and Jane plenty of time to fight or work things out.
