Brooke Shields: Grier Is a Girly Girl Who Loves Makeup
Brooke Shields recently went on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and talked about her two daughters, Rowan, 6-1/2, and Grier, 4, who are “polar opposites.” Whereas Rowan is a rough-and-tumble tomboy, Grier loves anything princess-related and is obsessed with lipstick. (Might I suggest a play date with Suri Cruise?)
“Every now and then they’ll ask you to put your kids in a fun scene, so I asked and the little one said she would do it. So she went through hair and makeup and got her wardrobe and then refused to do it because all she wanted to do was the hair and makeup. I was like, ‘You’ll never make it in Hollywood!’”
“They just called me from New York … [Grier] got on the phone and she goes, ‘Mom, do you think I look pretty right now?’ And I’m like, ‘Why are you asking me that?’” she says.
“And she goes, ‘Because I have lipstick on.’ She has lipstick on all the time, that’s all she does.”
Seriously Grier, I found you a bestie. And Suri’s dad apologized to your mom for his big mouth way back when so set something up!
