Breaking: It’s a Girl for Amanda Peet!
It’s another girl for Amanda Peet and screenwriter husband David Benioff!
Molly June Benioff was born on Tuesday in New York, according to People. Molly came a little earlier than Peet was expecting, causing her to cancel her appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, where she was scheduled to discuss her upcoming film Please Give. Something tells me she doesn’t mind so much.
According to her rep, both mother and baby are healthy and recovering nicely. And lucky for Peet and Benioff, they had settled on the name–although it wasn’t the one big sister Frances, 3, was hoping for.
“There’s been a lot of fighting going on in my household over names,” Peet recently told People. “Frankie is very excited. She just wants to call the baby Turtle.”
I’m glad they chose Molly. Although selfishly speaking, we all would have had a lot more fun with ‘Turtle’.
