What Does Jon Gosselin Do For a Living?
Kate Gosselin appeared on Jay Leno last night and while Jay is usually a softee when it comes to holding well-heeled feet to the fire, he threw a zinger Kate’s way.

He asked her what Jon does for a living.
It’s a fair question.
Unfortunately, Kate didn’t really have an answer. Her first attempt was “I don’t know.” On the re-direct, when Jay asked if Jon currently had a job, Kate replied “Not that I’m aware of”.
After that, Jay expounded on his view of the allegations in Jon’s custody bid, in which he contends that Kate is an absentee mother. “It seems to me most single moms work at least eight to 10 hours a day,” Jay said, “which is what you’re doing.”
Kate obviously agrees.
“The truth is, moms work. Single moms work. I travel and work – that’s my job.”
I guess we know on who’s side Jay Leno’s sympathies lie. And in the court of public opinion, the Kate-as-absent-parent bit doesn’t seem to be winning much traction–especially since Jon doesn’t seem to be gainfully employed. I guess we’ll have to see how it holds up in family court–if it comes to that.
