Kate Gosselin’s Family to Testify on Child Labor Laws
It looks like ex-husband Jon Gosselin isn’t the only one likely to say negative things about Kate Gosselin under sworn testimony. Relatives of Kate Gosselin are expected to testify at a Pennsylvania legislative hearing on child labor laws tomorrow — and not speak favorably about Kate allowing her children to work on former hit reality series “Jon & Kate Plus 8.” It’s no secret Kate has had a rocky relationship with her family members as well as Jon’s. So what’s the hearing about?
Republican state Rep. Thomas Murt wants to prevent exploitation of children who appear in entertainment like movies, television and reality shows like the former “Jon & Kate Plus 8.”
State labor officials investigated the production for possible violations of child labor laws but didn’t release their findings. TLC, the network that brought us “Jon & Kate Plus” denied breaking any laws.
Gosselin’s brother Kevin Kreider and his wife, Jodi, will testify tomorrow in Horsham. Her brother has seemingly betrayed Kate before, including possibly trying to sell private information for cash.
Other witnesses include attorney Gloria Allred and former child actor Paul Petersen of “The Donna Reed Show.” Let’s just hope this doesn’t affect Kate’s dancing — given she miraculously made it through another elimination night on Dancing with the Stars!

Kathy commented on Apr 13 10 at 11:54 pmI think it is terrible that Kate’s brother is trying to turn on her, AGAIN!! It is sad, but people have to work, to take care of their needs. Why can Jon and his crew see this…………. If he is so concerned about his children, why doesn’t he have a JOB!!!???
Gerald Peckham commented on Apr 20 10 at 10:21 pmI think that this family turned this into a circus show. The kids are more important than doing a show on how you raise 8 children. Its no big secret, raising children can be challenging for any parent. Kate is the one who was driven to let the world see her as a supermom, but in reality she is no superwoman. Her book is a complete disaster, I’m an author too, but since her dancing with the stars episode is over, she needs to face reality and start being a full time mother. Her kids need a mother, not a celebrity.
