Date Night a Rarity for Tina Fey, Steve Carell
Funny people Tina Fey and Steve Carell star in the comedy “Date Night,” but in reality, since having children they admit to only getting out with their spouses about once per month. And even then, they’d usually just rather stay home.
“Sometimes you’ve had a long week and you have a date night planned and the babysitter comes and you envy her for…” Carell says, and then Fey finishes his thought, “Settling in! She’s going to watch TV.”
“Oh, with a big bowl of chips and the Tivo lined up with your favorite shows,” Carell continues. “That sounds like the best date night of all.”
