Celebrity Moms Love Their Metallic Shoes
Jessica Alba was spotted looking casually chic in Los Angeles yesterday with the must-have shoes of the season. Granted, metallic kickers aren’t a brand new trend — after all, Kate Winslet worn them on the cover of Vanity Fair in December 2008. But it’s a trend that’s hotter than ever, as evidenced by various high profile celeb moms donning them well into 2010. The beauty of the trend? You can wear them flat like Alba or sky high like some other moms featured next. You can wear them at any age — just ask Susan Sarandon. And most important: you can find them just about everywhere and in every price range. Cheaper, say, than the Jimmy Choos Reese Witherspoon recently wore.
In addition to Witherspoon, Demi Moore sparkled at the Academy Awards; Kate Hudson rocked a pair (what’s with the rest of her outfit?) shortly after she split from Alex Rodriguez; a newly single Susan Sarandon shined at the premiere of The Lovely Bones; and Kate Winslet’s much discussed Vanity Fair cover from 2008 shows it’s a long-lasting trend. Go get a pair! What was that L’Oreal slogan? Oh, yeah, you’re worth it.
