Zach Braff: Sarah Chalke a “Great Mom”
Scrubs co-star Zach Braff is singing the praises of Sarah Chalke and her maternal instincts. Chalke gave birth to a baby boy, Charlie, on Christmas Eve with her lawyer fiance Jamie Afifi. (Disclaimer: This is not her real baby!)
Braff claims Chalke has been ready to a be a mother for years.
Braff told PEOPLE: “She’s doing great and she’s a great mom! Listen, I met Sarah nine years ago and she was ready to become a mom even then. She’s a very maternal, loving person so we knew the second she left the set of Scrubs … she was ready to become a mom.”
Well, that’s a ringing endorsement! Now that Scrubs is cancelled, Chalke has reportedly signed on to do a pilot for a new television show. Stay tuned.
