Top Celebrity Girlie Girls
I won’t even save the suspense of who would top a list of celebrity girlie girls. C’mon. Of course it’s Her Suri-ness, offspring of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, the very definition of “girlie,” Suri Cruise. She “hates jeans,” loves makeup, wears high heels and once said to her mother who tried to get her to wear a pair of gold sneakers: “Oh mommy, these are lovely, but they’re boy shoes.” Lovely indeed. But who else should make the list? And which girlie girl is also on the forthcoming tomboy list? Yes, you can be both.
Zahara Jolie-Pitt proves that being a girlie girl doesn’t always mean dresses and bright colors (she loves grays, blacks and neutrals). Hers is a sophisticated girlie chic, exemplified by an always elegant look — yes, I know she’s only five! — that also manages to look comfy and ready to play on a moment’s notice.
It’s no surprise Sam Sheen is a girlie girl — mom Denise Richards seems like one too. Even when donning leggings and playwear at the park, Sam has a girlie accessory — a pink clip, a ribboned ponytail — and she’s always adorable.
Kimora Lee Simmons said it herself: her two daughters, Ming Lee and Aoki Lee are girlie girls through and through. And since they often model for their mother’s fashion line, that works out well for everyone.
Violet Affleck wears frills well. With long blond locks and those dimples that match her mom’s — What’s more girlie than that!
