Maggie and Ramona at Prospect Park
Maggie Gyllenhaal and daughter Ramona Sarsgaard took advantage of the warm spell Saturday in New York and spent some time at Prospect Park in Brooklyn. If you’re a Brooklyn mom (and even if you’re not) check out Amy Sohn’s novel Prospect Park West, which discusses this very park. The book, which often skewers the obsessions of urban parenting, is set in Brooklyn and features fictional cameos by Maggie. And one of the lead characters is said to be based on former Brooklyn resident Jennifer Connelly. Juicy stuff! The rights were optioned by Sarah Jessica Parker for a television series. More photos of Maggie and Ramona next.
