Will Michelle Duggar Finally Get To Hold Josie? -Video
We’ve all been so worried about little Josie Duggar. Since her emergency birth in December the Duggar family has kept us abreast of her development.
Josie is getting so big. She now weighs in at 2 lb., 3 1/2 oz..
I love that the Duggar family is such a “glass is half full” kind of family. They make it seem like this whole situation isn’t scary every day.
“She looks so big to me,” says Michelle.
The NICU nurse chimed in and said, “Josie weighs 2 lbs., 3 1/2 oz.. She is 47 days old and she eats breast milk that mom has pumped and we have, and she gets it continuously at six milliliters an hour, which is about a teaspoon an hour.”
Michelle commented on the music playing in the background. “She just loves that calm, soothing music. She gets to listen to that all the time. I heard she’s been very energetic … She’s going to have to be to keep up with everybody at home.”
I’m hoping for the best with little Josie. The whole situation scares me to death, but I’m glad it’s worked out so well for her.
I hope her parents have taken this situation as a warning and don’t plan on having more.
