Walking Down the Aisle With a Baby Bump
Well it is a woman’s perogative to change her mind. Originally, Bethenny Frankel said she’d have the baby first, and then marry fiance Jason Hoppy — and as we pointed out she’d be in the company of many other celeb moms who did the same thing. Then Frankel, who is due in June, reversed her decision, claiming she’ll walk down the aisle sporting a big ole’ baby bump, looking her usual fashionable self. And she’ll still be in the company of other rich and famous mothers who went that route — in fact, lots of A-listers like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Garner, Heidi Klum and recently separated Kate Winslet got married while pregnant.
Jennifer Garner married Ben Affleck on the island of Turks and Caicos on June 29, 2005, when she was three months pregnant with their first daughter, Violet.
Gwyneth Paltrow married Chris Martin at a hotel in Southern California on December 5, 2003. Apple Martin was born on May 14, 2004.
Heidi Klum and Seal tied the knot on May 10, 2005, on a beach in Mexico. Son Henry Gunther arrived on September 15, 2005.
Kate Winslet, at about eight weeks pregnant, married director Sam Mendes in May 2003 on the Caribbean island of Anguilla. Their son, Joe, was born in December.
So Frankel is in good company. I expect the wedding dress to flaunt rather than conceal the baby bump. Can’t wait to see the pics!
