Rebecca Gayheart’s Daughter Gets A Name
After 7 days of calling their new daughter “the baby” and months of playing the name game, Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane have finally settled on a fitting designation for their baby girl: Billie Beatrice.
Apparently, Eric had a strategy for naming Billie, and it appears to have worked out. Eric plan was to “wait to see [the baby]” because “You want to make sure that the name sticks.” That makes sense, right?
Billie was delivered at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on March 3rd and waited a full week until her parents found a name that stuck.
Picking out a name is difficult for most parents, because there’s a lot of pressure to not screw it up (and lots of parents do). Fortunately for Billie, Rebecca and Eric decided on a pretty good one. Way to go, guys!
Do you think that “Billie” is a tribute to Michael Jackson? As in Billie Jean?
